FBI and San Diego Police Seek Public’s Assistance to Identify Chase Bank Robber

June 8, 2010 - The FBI and San Diego Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the unknown male responsible for robbing the Chase Bank, 4627 College Avenue, San Diego, California, on Monday, June 7, 2010.

At approximately, 9:20 a.m., an unknown male used a demand note to rob a teller at the Chase Bank, 4627 College Avenue, San Diego, California. At the time of the robbery, the robber entered the bank and walked over to the stand alone counter in the middle of the bank lobby. While at the counter, it is believed the robber prepared his demand note that he subsequently presented to the teller. The robber then waited in line and presented the demand note to the teller. After receiving a sum of money, the robber walked out of the bank. Investigators believe that this bank robber is the same individual responsible for robbing the Bank of America, 4166 El Cajon Blvd., San Diego, on Friday, May 28, 2010.

Witnesses describe the robber as follows:
Sex: Male
Race: Black
Age: Mid 20’s
Height: Approximately 6’0” to 6’2” tall
Weight: Approximately 180 pounds
Build: Average
Hair: Clean shaven
Clothing: White baseball cap with unknown logo on the side of the cap, light yellow/beige tee-shirt, and baggy gray sweat pants
