Richmond, VA – U.S. Marshals are again releasing the
following information in the fugitive hunt for Andrew “Andy” Williams, wanted
in the City of Colonial Heights (VA) for numerous offenses including possession
of a controlled substance and firearm related charges.
U.S. Marshals and Colonial Heights Detectives have been
actively seeking Williams since January when he failed to appear for trial on
charges stemming from a June 2014 arrest. Williams has eluded capture and
seemed to fall off law enforcements radar ever since. Williams has a long
criminal history including arrest for drugs, firearms and assault and battery.
Williams has ties to Virginia but could be in North
Carolina, South Carolina, or Florida. He has brown eyes and brown hair but may
be partially gray on the sides. Williams also occasionally wears glasses. He
could be working any under-the-table paying job such as construction or
landscaping.
“He could be anywhere at this point in time. We are still
actively seeking him and will continue to search until he is apprehended. We
are asking the public to help us in anyway possible,” said U.S. Marshal Robert
Mathieson.
Anyone that may have had contact with or seen Williams is
asked to contact the U.S. Marshals at 1-877-WANTED-2 (1-877-926-8332). Tipsters
may remain anonymous.
The USMS Regional Fugitive Task Force in Richmond consists
of investigators for the U.S. Marshals Service, Virginia State Police, Virginia
Department of Corrections, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the
Richmond, Chesterfield and Hopewell Police Departments, as well as the
Chesterfield Sheriff’s Office.
