RENO, Nev.- The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person/persons responsible for the fire at 11800 Veterans Parkway. On Thursday, July 23, at approximately 3:20 a.m., the Reno Fire Department responded to a multi-alarm fire at the Esprit Townhome Apartments. The fire consumed eleven buildings in various stages of construction resulting in approximately $15 million dollars of financial loss. The fire was determined to be an act of arson. ATF and the Reno Fire Department are investigating this case.
Lewis Management Corporation is offering an additional reward of up to $20,000 leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the fire. The total reward for the Esprit Townhome Apartments fires is a combined $30,000.
