Bureau of Justice Assistance Announces Funding Opportunities for Corrections, Courts



Applications are due in July 2017 for two new funding opportunities from the Bureau of Justice Assistance.
The Residential Substance Abuse Treatment for State Prisoners Program FY 2017 Formula Grant Program aims to break the cycle of drug addiction by providing residential substance abuse treatment for incarcerated inmates who are preparing for reentry. The John R. Justice FY 2017 Competitive Grant Program aims to attract and retain qualified local, state and federal public defenders as well as local and state prosecutors committed to continued service as public defenders and prosecutors.
