WASHINGTON – The National Institute of Justice, a component
of the Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs today announced a new
resource for medical examiners, coroners and death investigators. A product of
a Department of Justice and Department of Health and Human Services working
group launched in March 2018, the resource page serves as a single source for
information regarding current federal programs and grant-funding opportunities
that support medicolegal death investigation activities to advance both public
safety and public health initiatives.
