FORT WAYNE – Keith Miller, age 35, of Albion, Indiana, was
sentenced by U.S. District Court Chief Judge Theresa Springmann after pleading
guilty to conspiracy to distribute and possess methamphetamine, knowingly and
intentionally distributing methamphetamine and possessing a firearm in furtherance
of a drug trafficking crime, announced U.S. Attorney Kirsch.
Miller was sentenced to 170 months in prison.
According to documents in the case, from February 2016
through April 2016, Miller and co-defendants conspired and distributed
methamphetamine. In November 2016 Miller
was in possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
This case was the
result of an investigation by the ATF, DEA, and IRS-Criminal Investigation
Division with the assistance of the Fort Wayne Police Department. This case was prosecuted by Assistant United
States Attorney Lesley Miller-Lowery.
