COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms
and Explosives (ATF) and the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) – the
trade association for the firearms industry – are announcing a reward for
information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individuals responsible
for the burglary of Smokin’ Aces Armory, located at 9525 State Route 161 East,
Plain City, Ohio. ATF is offering a
reward of up to $5,000, which the NSSF will match for a total potential reward
of $10,000.
On Feb. 7, 2019, at 9:10 p.m., five unknown suspects broke
into Smokin’ Aces Armory by driving a dark-colored SUV into the building. The suspects took approximately 30 firearms
and left the premises in the SUV and a small, dark-colored sedan.
ATF is investigating this case jointly with the Madison
County Sheriff’s Office.

This reward is part of a larger national cooperative
initiative between the NSSF and ATF in which NSSF matches ATF rewards in cases
