MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – The United States Attorney’s Office for
the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Nicolas Mojica-Flores, age 44,
of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma was sentenced to time served and waived his right to
contest his removal from the United States for Reentry Of Removed Alien, in
violation of Title 8, United States Code, Section 1326(a). The charges arose
from an investigation by the Department of Homeland Security – Homeland
Security Investigations.
The Information alleged that on or about November 26, 2019,
in the Eastern District of Oklahoma, the defendant, an alien, was in the United
States after having been removed on or about November 13, 1998, at or near
Laredo, Texas. He re-entered not having obtained the express consent of the
Secretary of Homeland Security to reapply for admission to the United States.
The Honorable Ronald A. White, U.S. District Judge in the
United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, in Muskogee,
presided over the hearing. Assistant United States Attorney Rob Wallace
represented the United States at the sentencing hearing.
