January 27, 2010 - Philip Laverty Goggin, 47, of Colorado, was indicted yesterday by a federal grand jury in Pocatello, Idaho, for bank robbery, the United States Attorney’s Office announced.
The indictment alleges that Goggin robbed the Wells Fargo Bank on Skyline Drive in Idaho Falls on December 30, 2009.
The case was investigated by the FBI and Idaho Falls Police Department.
An indictment is a means of charging a person with criminal activity. It is not evidence. The person is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
