San Antonio, TX – On November 07, 2012 U.S. Marshals
arrested Michael Clack (32). Clack was wanted in Nueces County for Aggravated
Robbery charges. Clack’s warrant stems from an incident that occurred on
October 20, 2012 where he allegedly robbed a family at gun point during a home
invasion on CR- 49 in Nueces County. The Gulf Coast Violent Offender and
Fugitive Task Force (GCVOFTF) tracked Clack to San Antonio where they
coordinated with the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force (LSFTF) to apprehend Clack
at an apartment complex on the 13600 block of O’Connor. Clack was taken to Bexar
County Jail where he awaits extradition back to Nueces County in lieu of a
$100,000 bond.
The Gulf Coast Violent Offender Fugitive Task Force is a
team comprised of law enforcement officers from the U.S. Marshals, Corpus
Christi Police Department, Nueces and Victoria Counties Sheriff’s Departments,
and the Texas Department of Corrections. The task force objective is to seek
out and arrest violent criminals, gang members, and sex offenders. U.S.
Marshals-led district task forces arrested 81,900 state and local fugitives in
FY 2010, clearing approximately 108,200 state and local felony warrants.
