U.S Marshals Arrest 2 Suspected Heroin Dealers in 2 Days



Burlington, VT - The U.S. Marshals Service, Vermont Violent Offender Task Force (VVOTF) arrested 2 fugitives wanted by both the Burlington Police Department and the Vermont State Police.

Violette Guerra, 24, of Winooski, Vermont was arrested on December 7, 2016 in South Burlington, Vermont when confronted by Deputy U.S. Marshals and South Burlington Police.

On October 17, 2016, a warrant was issued for Guerra’s arrest, charging Guerra with Felony Sale of Heroin. The charge stemmed from a Vermont State Police criminal investigation.

On December 7, 2016, members of the VVOTF and the South Burlington Police Department developed information on Guerra’s location and subsequently arrested Guerra without incident in South Burlington. As a result of the arrest, Guerra is facing additional charges by the South Burlington Police Department for Possession of Heroin.

Nicole Hough, 26, of Colchester, Vermont was arrested on December 8, 2016 in South Burlington, Vermont when confronted by Deputy U.S. Marshals, South Burlington Police and Burlington Police.

On November 14, 2016, a warrant was issued for Hough’s arrest, charging Hough with Felony Sale of Heroin. The charge stemmed from a Burlington Police Department criminal investigation.

On December 8, 2016, members of the VVOTF, South Burlington Police and Burlington Police developed information on Hough’s location and subsequently arrested Hough without incident in South Burlington.

These arrests were the result of a culmination of investigative efforts by the U.S. Marshals VVOTF, the South Burlington Police Department and the Burlington Police Department.
