New Mexico’s Fugitive Task Force Arrests Homicide Suspect



Albuquerque, NM - On February 24, 2017, the U.S. Marshals Service for the District of New Mexico, Southwest Investigative Fugitive Team (SWIFT) Task Force apprehended alleged homicide suspect Antoinette Martinez.

Antoinette Martinez was allegedly wanted in connection with the shooting death of Larry Sanchez in June of 2016. On October 28, 2016, a state arrest warrant out of the State of New Mexico was issued for Martinez a.k.a. “Toni” charging her with murder (open count), conspiracy, tampering with evidence, receiving and transferring a stolen motor vehicle.

On February 15th, 2017, Martinez was placed on the United States Marshals Service District of New Mexico “New Mexico’s Most Wanted Program.” Thanks to the tireless efforts displayed by the SWIFT partners Martinez was apprehended and taken off the streets to face her charges in court.
