United States Attorney Ron Parsons announced that an Allen,
South Dakota, man convicted of Abusive Sexual Contact was sentenced by Chief
Judge Jeffrey L. Viken, U.S. District Court.
Jaelen Thunder Bull, age 23, was sentenced on January 11,
2019, to 3 years in federal prison, followed by 5 years of supervised release,
and a $100 special assessment to the Federal Crime Victims Fund.
The conviction stems from Thunder Bull engaging in a sexual
act with a minor female in July 2017 at Allen.
This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of
Investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorney
Ben Patterson prosecuted the case.
Thunder Bull was immediately turned over to the custody of
the U.S. Marshals Service.
