ATF Offers $5,000 Reward for Information on Foley Federal Building Arson

 LAS VEGAS - The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for setting a fire at the Foley Federal Building at 300 South Las Vegas Boulevard on Saturday, Nov. 7, about 3:20 a.m.

The suspect, who has not been identified, is a white male, approximately 35 years old, 5-foot, 8 inches tall, and 240 pounds. He was wearing a blue T-shirt with a distinctive design on back, a blue baseball-style cap, and blue pants. 
  
The man drove to the federal building in a late model white sedan with what is believed to be black molding on the side. He used gasoline to set fire to the front entrance of the federal building before leaving the scene.  
 
Security officials were able to extinguish the fire, but it caused minor damage to the building’s exterior.  

The ATF determined the fire to be an act of arson. ATF and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department are investigating.
