National Center for Campus Public Safety Forum Reports, Webinar Archives Available Online

In 2016, the National Center for Campus Public Safety held seven emerging issues forums using panels of subject-matter experts, practitioners, relevant professional association members and government agency representatives to cover a variety of topics including sexual violence, marijuana legalization and campus carry (possession of firearms). These forums are a venue for addressing newly identified challenges in campus public safety and emergency management, and identifying potential solutions. As they are published, forum reports are made available for download on the Center's website at http://www.nccpsafety.org/our-work/emerging-issues-forums/.

The Center also hosted eight Campus Public Safety Online webinars on topics of interest to campus public safety, emergency management and administration officials, and members of law enforcement. Topics included planning for the safety of minors, conducting trauma-informed sexual assault investigations on campus, sexual violence prevention strategies and adding international incidents to campus emergency response plans. Visit the archives at http://www.nccpsafety.org/training-technical-assistance/webinars/archives to view the closed-captioned webinars and download presenters' slides and supplemental materials.
