ROCHESTER, N.Y. - U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy, Jr.
announced today that Kimberly Dumbleton, 47, of Casselberry, FL, pleaded guilty
before Chief U.S. District Judge Frank P. Geraci, Jr. to conspiracy to
distribute heroin and fentanyl. The charge carries a maximum penalty of 20
years in prison and a $1,000,000 fine.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Cassie Kocher, who is handling the
case, stated that between 2016 and December of 2018, the defendant conspired
with others to sell heroin and fentanyl to customers at 774 Smith Street in
Rochester, NY.
The plea is the result of an investigation by the Federal
Bureau of Investigation, under the direction of Special Agent-in-Charge Gary
Loeffert, and Rochester Police Department, under the direction of Chief La’Ron
Singletary.
Sentencing is scheduled for January 10, 2020, at 10:00 a.m.
before Judge Geraci.
