“Woman Wannabes” Wear Wigs Commit Another Area Bank Robbery


March 23, 2010 - The FBI Houston Bank Robbery Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the “Woman Wannabes”, two men who wear wigs to commit bank robberies. The two hit the Wachovia bank at 12859 Kimberly Lane this afternoon, and are believed to be responsible for robbing the Amegy bank in Humble on Friday afternoon.

In today’s robbery, the two entered the bank and approached bank employees, handing over a note demanding that money be put into a plastic grocery bag. One of the “Woman Wannabes” kept his hand in his pocket as if he were holding a weapon. Once the bag was filled, the two exited the bank and were seen leaving the area in a blue Chevrolet four door sedan. No weapon was shown, and no one was physically hurt.

“Wannabe” number one is described as a black male, early 20’s, 5’10” to 5’11” tall, slender build, dark complexion. He wore a white jogging suit and a curly dark wig.

“Wannabe” number two is described as a black male, early 20’s 6’0” tall, medium build, dark complexion. He wore a black jogging suit and a curly dark wig.
