Cleveland, OH - Today at approximately 6:00am the U.S.
Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Isaiah Elias, 20.
Elias was wanted by numerous police departments in the Cleveland area.
Since the beginning of October, Elias has racked up charges
from the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department for failing to appear for having
weapons while under disability and tampering with evidence; Middleburg Heights
Police Department for kidnapping and domestic violence; and the Cleveland
Police Department for felonious assault.
Early this morning, members of the task force arrested Elias
in the 20100 block of Lunn Ave. in Strongsville. Elias was found hiding in a
bedroom of the home. Upon Elias’ arrest, officers recovered various drugs,
ammunition, body armor, and a loaded gun.
U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott added, “The arrest of this
fugitive shows how important the relationship between the fugitive task force
and the local law enforcement community can be. Without the hard work and
dedication of our local partners, and cooperation from the community, this
fugitive would still be wreaking havoc in the Cleveland area and surrounding
suburbs."
