FISHKILL, N.Y. – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms
and Explosives (ATF) and Gap Inc., have announced a reward for information
leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for
the August 29, 2016 fire which took place at the Northeast Distribution Center
for Gap Inc., located at 100 Merritt Boulevard, Fishkill, N.Y. ATF is offering
a reward of up to $7,500, which will be matched by Gap Inc. for a total reward
of up to $15,000.
The investigation by ATF’s National Response Team, conducted
in partnership with the New York State Police, New York State Office of Fire
Prevention and Control, Dutchess County Fire Investigation Division, and the
Fishkill Fire Department, concluded that the fire was intentionally set. The
investigation is ongoing.
