Memphis, TN - Freddie Yarbor fled to Ridgeland, Mississippi
but couldn’t hide from the U.S. Marshals.
On November 10th a warrant was issued for the arrest of
Freddie Yarbor on the charge of first degree murder. He is accused in the
August 20 shooting death of Jeromee “J Money” White.
Investigators with the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional
Fugitive Task Force and the Shelby County Fugitive Apprehension Team worked
together to locate the fugitive. This morning he was tracked to an address in
the 500 block of Boardwalk in Ridgeland Mississippi. He was arrested by
investigators with the Marshals Task Force, Jackson, MS office.
Yarbor was taken into custody and transported to the Madison
County Jail without incident. He is currently awaiting extradition.
The U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force is
a multi-agency task force with divisions in Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and
Louisiana. The Western Tennessee Division of the GCRFTF has offices in Memphis
and Jackson, and its membership is primarily composed of Deputy U.S. Marshals,
Shelby County Sheriff’s Deputies, Memphis Police Officers, Madison County
Sheriff’s Deputies, Jackson Police Officers, and the Tennessee Department of
Corrections Special Agents. The primary mission of the Task Force is to arrest
violent offenders and sexual predators.
