U.S. Marshals Arrest Pennsylvania Child Sexual Assaults Suspect



Burlington, VT - The U.S. Marshals Service, Vermont Violent Offender Task Force (VVOTF) arrested a fugitive wanted by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for Child Sexual Assaults. Bryan Coyle, 60, of Leraysville, Pennsylvania, was arrested on January 24, 2017 in Hancock, Vermont when confronted by Deputy U.S. Marshals.

On December 6, 2016, an aggravated indecent assault on minors warrant was issued by the Bradford County, Pennsylvania. On January 23, 2017, the Pennsylvania State Police, and the U.S. Marshals Service developed information that Coyle was possibly in Hancock, Vermont area.

On January 24, 2017 the VVOTF converged on the Hancock area and eventually located and arrested Coyle .

On January 25, 2017 Coyle was seen in the Rutland County Superior Court, Criminal Division, charging Coyle as a Fugitive from Justice. Coyle was held on $100,000 bond and is awaiting extradition back to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to face the aggravated indecent assault on minors charges.

This arrest was the result of a culmination of investigative efforts by the U.S. Marshals VVOTF, Richmond Police Department, Orleans County Sherriff’s Department and Newport Police Department.
