Ralph S. Boelter, Special Agent in Charge of the Minneapolis FBI office, today, announced the federal arrest of Marc Antonio Clark, age 35, of Minneapolis, Minnesota. On Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at approximately 1:00 p.m., the Wells Fargo Bank, located 4141 Lyndale Avenue North, Minneapolis, Minnesota, was robbed by a lone individual who handed a teller a note demanding cash, verbally threatened having a gun, then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. Following a joint investigation, Clark was taken into federal custody on Tuesday, March 2, after having been arrested without incident and detained by officers of the Minneapolis Police Department at his residence on Webber Park Way in Minneapolis on February 25, 2010 during an unrelated domestic disturbance call.
On Tuesday, March 2, 2010, a federal criminal complaint was filed in United States District Court, District of Minnesota, St. Paul, Minnesota, charging Marc Antonio Clark with one count of bank robbery for the alleged February 23, 2010, robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank at 4141 Lyndale Avenue North in Minneapolis. Also on Tuesday, Clark made his Initial Appearance in United States District Court, St. Paul, Minnesota where he was ordered detained pending further court proceedings.
This investigation is a joint effort by the Minneapolis Police Department and the FBI. The United States Attorney’s Office, District of Minnesota is prosecuting this case.
