Bank Robber Whispers Bold Threat

NEWARK, NJ—On March 9, 2011 at approximately , a bank robbery occurred at Chase bank,
989 McBride Ave, Woodland Park, NJ
. The robber was described as a lone white male, 6'0" tall, 50 years old, with scruffy grey stubble (facial hair), approximately 200 lbs, wearing a distinctive black baseball cap with an eagle holding an American flag, and black jacket. The robber walked up to the teller counter, leaned in and whispered to the teller, demanding money and verbally threatening the teller's life. After obtaining an undisclosed sum of money, the robber fled on foot.

The FBI offers rewards for information leading to the capture of bank robbers and other FBI fugitives. The subject should be considered armed and dangerous.
