Mom Thinks Globally and Acts Locally in Helping Mothers of Addicts

Davie, FL- As a mother of 2 children who struggle with addiction, one in recovery and the other still deep into his addiction, Barbara Theodosiou knew there must be other mothers going through the same feelings and challenges that she has and as a result founded The Addict's Mom. In the 3 months since her formation of a Facebook group, The Addict's Mom, she has attracted over 2200 members. Due to the popularity of the group Barbara formed a fan page and within one moth has had over 950 people join. In the coming month's The Addict's Mom will be starting a Scholarship Program to assist mothers whose families have been touched by addiction. The Addict's Mom has reached so many mothers that Barbara is planning to do an Addict's Mom retreat in South Florida as well as other workshops to enhance the lives of those affected by addiction.
