ATF Offers Reward for fugitive, Longs, S.C.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), has announced a reward up to $5,000.00, for information leading to the arrest and conviction of murder suspect Lakenneth L. Clarida.

On October 6, 2014, on Highway 57, in Longs, S.C., Mr. Lakenneth L. Clarida shot and subsequently killed Tanya James. Afterwards, he fled the scene and has been a fugitive since that time. Clarida is a multi-convicted felon as should be considered armed and dangerous.

This violent crime is being investigated by ATF and the Horry County Police Department.
