International Association of Chiefs of Police Releases Brief on Adolescents and Law Enforcement
The
IACP has released a new resource brief focusing on adolescents ages 15-19 and
their interactions with law enforcement. Developed with support from the Office
of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, the brief addresses key
differences between the development of the adolescent and adult brain and how
this presents key challenges for law enforcement.
