Suspect Connected to Robbery of Pizza Delivery Driver Arrested in Greensboro, NC by the Joint Fugitive Task Force



Greensboro, NC – This morning, at approximately 09:00 AM, Bobby Lee Jones Jr., a 24 year old male, was arrested by the United States Marshals Joint Fugitive Task Force (JFTF). On May 05, 2015, an arrest warrant was issued for Jones by the Greensboro Police Department for Conspiracy Robbery Dangerous Weapon. It is alleged that Jones is connected to the robbery of the Big City Pizza & Subs delivery driver that took place on May 05, 2015 and subsequently received proceeds from the robbery.

On May 8, 2015, through extensive investigative efforts the JFTF was led to 2406 Madre Place, in Greensboro. The JFTF converged on the residence and upon entry made contact with Jones where he surrendered without incident. He was transported to the Guilford County Jail where he is currently being held on the charges.

The U.S. Marshals Joint Fugitive Task Force for the Middle District of North Carolina is comprised of investigators from the U.S. Marshals Service, Chapel Hill Police Department, Durham Police Department, Greensboro Police Department, High Point Police Department, Winston-Salem Police Department, Alamance County Sheriff’s Office, the North Carolina State Highway Patrol and the North Carolina Department of Public Safety, Department of Community Corrections – Probation & Parole.
