York, PA - Today, United States Marshal Martin J. Pane announced the arrest of John Patrick, a 46-year old man formerly of Adams County.

The fugitive case was adopted by the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force in York, Pennsylvania. During the course of the investigation, the fugitive task force developed information which indicated Patrick may have fled to Detroit, Michigan or Maryland. As a result, a collateral lead was forwarded to the Marshals Detroit office requesting assistance in locating and arresting Patrick.

U.S. Marshal Pane stated, “Our society demands alleged sexual abuse of children be promptly investigated. The U.S. Marshals Service and our fugitive task force partners help to ensure those persons accused of these crimes are promptly brought before the courts to answer for such charges.”

The USMS worked jointly in this investigation with personnel from the Cumberland Township Police Department, York City Police Department, York County Sheriff’s Department, Pennsylvania State Police, USMS Eastern District of Michigan and the Capital Area Fugitive Task Force.
