National Institute of Justice (NIJ) is committed to providing cutting edge knowledge and technology to our law enforcement community. The purpose of this questionnaire is to provide baseline data to assess number, types, and success rates of riot and ballistic helmets currently being used in the field. This information will be used to assess the need for refinement of NIJ standards related to the use of helmets. Your participation in this questionnaire is completely voluntary and anonymous. No personally identifiable information is being collected. Completing the questionnaire should take approximately 10 minutes. Please provide data for the period 4/1/2009 — 3/31/2010.
