The United States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced today that a former New Jersey Police Officer has been indicted by a federal grand jury for bank robbery.
According to United States Attorney Peter J. Smith, Carl Holliday, age 33, of Vineland , New Jersey , is accused of committing a bank robbery at the PNC Bank in White Haven, Luzerne County , on November 18, 2010 . Holliday was formerly employed as a police officer in Bridgeton , New Jersey , in 2006.
If convicted, Holliday faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison, followed by a three- year term of supervised release and a $250,000 fine.
