MidFirst Bank Robbery in Moore, Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—James E. Finch, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Oklahoma, announced the robbery of the MidFirst Bank,
1037 S.W. 19th Street, Moore, Oklahoma

At approximately this afternoon, an unknown white male entered the bank and placed a yellow bed sheet over his head. The robber pointed a handgun at two bank employees and verbally demanded money. The bank employees complied with the robber’s demand. The robber gathered an undetermined amount of money and left the bank on foot. While leaving the bank, the robber dropped some of the money and the yellow bed sheet. The robber was seen walking to the parking lot of the Dollar General store located northwest of the bank. He entered a red or purple four-door vehicle and left the area. No one was injured in today’s robbery.

The robber was described as a white male, approximately in his 20s, 5’7” to 5’10” tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a blue and white plaid shirt and blue jeans. The handgun was described as a black revolver.

The robbery is being investigated by the FBI and the Moore Police Department.
