In a joint investigation the Lakewood Police Department, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF), responded early Saturday morning to the Borders Book Store at the Colorado Mills Mall in Lakewood, Colorado.
After receiving a store alarm police officers responded and found what appeared to be forced entry into the business. Upon further investigation two devices were located and the Jefferson County Bomb Squad responded to the scene.
The scene was secured and the Colorado Mills Mall is open for business. No injuries were reported and no threats have been communicated to Borders or the Mall.
