Montrose Bank Robbed

The Montrose Police Department and the FBI are investigating a bank robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male, in his 20’s, approximately 6’0” to 6’2” in height, with a muscular build, unshaven, with sideburns.

The suspect showed a handgun, received money, and then fled from the bank.

Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.

The FBI continues to provide financial institutions with the best practices for security to make them less vulnerable to robberies.
