Firefighter Fatality

The United States Fire Administration (USFA) has received notice of the following firefighter fatality:

Fire Department Chief: Harold Muehe
 
Incident Description: Firefighter Branscum died from a cause still to be determined while working at the scene of campground/resort fire involving several camp trailer homes.
Incident Location: Cairo, MO.
 
Funeral Arrangements: Services are set for 10 AM Thursday Sept. 8, 2011 at Timber Lake Christian Church, 1624 Gratz Brown, Moberly, MO 65270.  Burial to follow, MO State Veterans Cemetery, County Rd 1675, Jacksonville, MO 1479.
Memorial Fund Contact and Address: In lieu of flowers the Family suggests memorials to the Jay Branscum Memorial Fund, c/o Bank of Cairo and Moberly, 207 East Rollins St, Moberly, MO 65270.
