Robbery of BancFirst Bank Branch in Muskogee


OKLAHOMA CITY—James E. Finch, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Oklahoma City, announces the robbery of the BancFirst bank branch located at 3601 West Oklmulgee, Muskogee, Oklahoma.

At approximately 8:10 a.m. on March 22, 2012, an unknown male entered the bank holding a knife. This man then verbally demanded money by stating, “Give me all your money.” He vaulted the teller counter and began taking money from the teller drawers. The robber gathered the money and left the bank. The robber was driving a small, light blue or silver vehicle that was last seen in the Taft, Oklahoma area. No one was injured in the robbery.

The robber was described as a white male, approximately 6’1” in height, with a medium build. He was wearing a gray or tan baseball-style cap, a dark colored shirt, jeans, and dark shoes. The robber had long hair that was black and gray in color and a mustache.

The robbery is being investigated by the FBI and the Muskogee Police Department.

The Oklahoma Banker’s Association offers a reward of up to $2,000 for any information leading to the identification and/or arrest of any individual robbing a member bank.
