JOHNSTOWN, PA—A resident of Johnstown, Pennsylvania has been sentenced in federal court to five years’ probation and 200 hours of community service work on his conviction of conspiracy to distribute heroin, United States Attorney David J. Hickton announced today.
United States District Judge Kim R. Gibson imposed the sentence on Dumon L. Coleman, 27.
According to information presented to the court, from April 28, 2009 to March 8, 2010, Coleman conspired to distribute and possess with intent to distribute 100 grams or more of heroin.
Assistant United States Attorney John J. Valkovci, Jr. prosecuted this case on behalf of the government.
U.S. Attorney Hickton commended the Laurel Highlands Resident Agency of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Cambria County Drug Task Force, and the Johnstown Police Department for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Coleman.
