Medal of Valor Nominations Open Soon
On May 31,
the nomination period for the 2011-2012 Public Safety Officer Medal of Valor
will open. This medal, the highest national award for valor given to public
safety officers, goes to selected nominees that exhibit exceptional courage,
regardless of personal safety, in an attempt to save or protect human life.
