Greensboro U.S. Marshals Arrest Florida Fugitive



Burlington, NC – Yesterday afternoon at 12:00 PM, Christian Troy-George Markham, a 21 year old, White Male was arrested by members of the U.S. Marshals Joint Fugitive Task Force (JFTF). Markham had active warrants out of Osceola County, Florida for Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon, Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Sell and Deliver, and Possession of Cannabis over 20 grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Upon receiving information from the Orlando Florida Caribbean Regional Task Force that Markham was believed to be in the Burlington, North Carolina area. JFTF investigators developed even more information that Markham was staying at a Holiday Inn Express Hotel. Investigators conducted interviews and located Markham in room #405 and arrested him without incident at the Holiday Inn Express located at 2701 Longpine Road. JFTF transported Markham to the Alamance County Jail where he received a $500,000.00 secured bond. Markham’s first appearance is scheduled for today in Alamance County.

The U.S. Marshals Joint Fugitive Task Force for the Middle District of North Carolina is comprised of investigators from the U.S. Marshals Service, Chapel Hill Police Department, Durham Police Department, Greensboro Police Department, High Point Police Department, Winston Salem Police Department, Alamance County Sheriff’s Office, Orange County Sheriff’s Office, and the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
