Hawaii U.S. Marshals Arrest Texas Child Sex Assault Fugitive



Honolulu, HI – On Thursday, March 27, 2014, members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force located and arrested 42 year-old Adrian Gamble of Galveston, Texas at an address located on Komohana Street in Kapolei. Gamble was wanted by the County of Galveston, Texas on a grand jury arrest warrant for indecency with a child and sexual contact.

On September 20, 2008, Gamble is accused of intentionally engaging in sexual contact with a child younger than 17 years of age. At the time of the incident the child was 9 years old and under the care of Gamble.

On March 22, 2011, a grand jury arrest warrant for Gamble was issued by the Galveston County District Attorney’s office, but Gamble had already fled Texas. In December 2013, Texas US Marshals tracked Gamble to Honolulu, HI and contacted U.S. Marshals in Hawaii. After conducting surveillance and following up on leads, on March 27 at approximately 10:30 am, U.S. Marshals, Hawaii State Sheriffs, and xU.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement - Enforcement and Removal Operations (ICE-ERO) Agents located Gamble at an address in Kapolei where he was taken into custody.

Gamble was transported and booked into the Honolulu Police Department Central Receiving pending a court appearance and extradition hearing back to Texas.
