High Point, NC – On July 29, 2015, at 10:30 AM, Tretavarius
Ramon Hamilton, a 22 year old, Male, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Joint
Fugitive Task Force (JFTF) and the High Point Police Department. On July 18,
2015, an arrest warrant was issued in High Point, NC for Hamilton for the
crimes of Felony Breaking and Entering with the Intent to Injure Occupants,
Assault Inflicting Serious Injury with a Minor Present, Assault on a Female. It
is alleged that Hamilton forced his way into an apartment where an ex-girlfriend
was visiting. Once inside, Hamilton forced his way past the victim's mother and
assaulted his ex-girlfriend by kicking and punching her in the head causing
injuries. Hamilton then fled on foot in an unknown direction.
Information was developed that led the JFTF and the High
Point Police Department to conduct surveillance on an apartment on London
Court. Task force officers knocked on the door of the fugitive’s apartment at
which time Hamilton opened the door briefly and then slammed it shut, locking
the door behind him. Hamilton refused to come out of the apartment, but
eventually surrendered to the JFTF and was taken into custody without further
incident.
Hamilton was transported to the High Point Police Department
for processing and was later placed into the High Point jail under a domestic
hold. Hamilton's first appearance will be July 30, 2015 in High Point district
court.

Police Department, High Point Police Department, Winston-Salem Police

Community Corrections – Probation & Parole.
