San Antonio, TX - Jennifer Nicole Johnson, 26, was arrested
this evening by members of the United States Marshals Service Lone Star
Fugitive Task Force (LSFTF), in San Antonio, TX. An arrest warrant was issued
pursuant to an investigation by the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD), where
it is alleged that Johnson committed murder.
This evening, LSFTF officers initiated an investigation in
locating and apprehending Johnson. Through investigative efforts, task force
officers determined that Johnson could be found on the northeast side of San
Antonio. Task force officers made contact with Johnson, identified themselves,
explained that there was a warrant for her arrest, and took her into custody
without incident.
On April 30, 2015, the deceased body of a young woman was
discovered by a passerby near the 8700 block of East Evans Road, on the

the murder. On June 5, 2015, Zachary Duncan, 29, was also arrested by task
force officers for his alleged involvement in the murder.
Johnson is currently being held in custody at the Bexar
County Sheriff’s Office.
Robert R. Almonte, United States Marshal for the Western
District of Texas, states, “This case demanded our immediate attention and our
task force officers affected the arrest without delay. Once the arrest warrant
was issued, Johnson’s apprehension was not too far behind.”
