Guide for Planning for Active Shooter/Hostile Events

A guide is available to help municipalities develop plans or modify existing procedures for dealing with active shooter/hostile events. The Active Shooter/Hostile Event (ASHE) Guide is the result of a summit held in January 2016, jointly sponsored by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Office of Health Affairs and the InterAgency Board. The guide is designed to serve as a template and checklist for preparing ASHE-specific plans and procedures.
