Marshals Fugitive Task Force Arrests Area Drug Dealer Barry Wilhelm



Martinsburg, WV - The Mountain State Fugitive Task Force, comprised of members from the United States Marshals Service, Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, West Virginia Department of Parole, and the West Virginia State Police, arrested Barry Wayne Wilhelm Jr., 22, of Amos Drive, Martinsburg, West Virginia. Barry Wilhelm Jr. was wanted on a bond revocation warrant for a drug distribution charge. Wilhelm’s bond was revoked due to a recent arrest where Wilhelm Jr. was arrested after a pursuit with the West Virginia State Police in July. Wilhem Jr. was charged with DUI, fleeing and drugs found at the time of arrest.

The warrant for Barry Wilhelm Jr.’s arrest was referred to the Marshals Service for apprehension by the West Virginia State Police. On August 9, 2016 task force officers were able to locate and arrest Wilhem Jr. at 194 Amos Dr, Martinsburg, West Virginia. At the time of the arrest Marijuana was seized and stolen fireworks were recovered from a previous burglary being worked by the Berkeley County Sherriff’s Office. Wilhelm was charged by the State Police with possession with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana due to the items seized.

The Mountain State Fugitive Task Force (MSFTF) is a U.S. Marshals Service lead fugitive task force who works with local law enforcement agencies in order to locate and capture fugitives charged with Murder, Armed Robberies, Malicious Assaults, Sexual Assaults, Drug Offences and other violent felony crimes.
