BOSTON - The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and
Explosives (ATF) Boston Field Division Special Agent in Charge Kelly D. Brady
announced Friday, May 17th that a reward of $5,000 for information leading to
the arrest and conviction of the person or persons who set fire to the Diyanet
Mosque in New Haven, Connecticut on May 12, 2019. Additionally, the Connecticut
Arson Watch program is offering up to $2,500 for information, which leads to
the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible.
Investigators from the New Haven Police Department, New
Haven Fire Department and the ATF New Haven Field Office have been assigned to
the investigation.
Anyone with information about the arson is encouraged to
call ATF's toll-free, 24-hour hotline at 1-888-ATF-FIRE (1-888-283-3473); or
the Connecticut Arson Watch Reward Hotline at 401-383-7723.
