BUFFALO, N.Y. - U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy, Jr.
announced today that Kory Doyle, 33, of Warsaw, NY, pleaded guilty to
possession of child pornography involving a prepubescent minor before Chief
U.S. District Judge Frank P. Geraci The charge carries a maximum penalty of 20
years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Stephanie Lamarque, who is handling
the case, stated that in September 2017, the New York State Police executed a
search warrant at the defendant’s residence in Warsaw. Several of Doyle’s
electronics were seized. A forensic examination determined that the electronics
contained over 700 images and 500 video files containing child pornography.
The plea is the result of an investigation by the New York
State Police, under the direction of Major Edward Kennedy, and the Federal
Bureau of Investigation, under the direction of Special Agent-in-Charge Gary
Loeffert.
Sentencing is scheduled for August 15, 2019, at 11:30 a.m.
before Judge Geraci.
