ROCHESTER, N.Y. - U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy, Jr.
announced today that Adam Leone 32, of Long Island, NY, who was convicted of
possession of child pornography involving prepubescent minors, was sentenced to
serve 60 months in prison followed by 10 years of supervised release by U.S.
District Judge Elizabeth A. Wolford.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Kyle Rossi, who handled the case,
stated that Leone was arrested by members of the FBI on June 27, 2018, after he
distributed child pornography to an undercover FBI Agent. Investigators
determined the defendant’s location and executed a search warrant at his
residence, where they located a computer containing child pornography.
The sentencing is the result of an investigation by the
Federal Bureau of Investigation, under the direction of Special Agent-in-Charge
Gary Loeffert.
