St. Louis, MO – Natez Fisher, 19, of St. Louis, MO, was
sentenced to 120 months in prison for one count of interference with commerce
by robbery. He appeared in federal
court today before U.S. District Judge Ronnie L. White.
According to court documents, on April 16, 2018, Natez
Fisher placed an advertisement on Facebook Marketplace for the sale of a gaming
system. The victim agreed to purchase
the item and met with Fisher at a pre-arranged location. Fisher entered the victim’s car and asked to
see the victim’s money. Once the victim
produced the money, Fisher pointed a firearm at the victim and demanded the
money. Fischer and the victim struggled
over the firearm. The victim was shot in
the leg during the struggle. Fisher
exited the car and fled on foot. He was
eventually arrested by federal agents.
This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of
Investigation and the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. Assistant United States Attorney Jennifer Roy
handled the case for the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
