$2,500 Reward Offered for Information on Explosive Devices Found in Trenton

TRENTON, Mich. — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is offering a reward of $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for leaving two explosive devices in Trenton, Mich., on April 28. A suspected explosives device was discovered at the Trenton High School and another device was discovered at the Trafford Square Shopping Center.

On April 29, the Trenton Police Department and the Wayne County Airport Bomb Squad responded to Trenton High School after a suspected explosive device was found on the premises. The device was rendered safe.

On May 4, ATF, Michigan State Police (MSP) and Trenton Police Department responded to Trafford Square Shopping Center located at Van Horn Road and Fort Square, Trenton, to investigate an explosive device that was located under a small tree. According to witness information the device is believed to have detonated on April 29.

There are no suspects in this investigation.
