As many of you know, I have been working in Jamaica for the past three weeks. I have been retained by the European Commission to assist the Jamaica Constabulary Force with developing a nation-wide anti-gang strategy. Over the next six months, I will be spending a total of 12 weeks in Jamaica. I have met people from ranging from Secretaries of Ministries, politicians, top JCF officials, cops on the beat, Ambassadors, CEOs of Corporations , leaders of NGOs and people who live in small rural villages. In Kingston itself, I have been downtown (unsafe), uptown (sort of unsafe) and New Kingston (okay).
Of course, I took the opportunity to pass out 10 copies of my leadership book, Leadership: Texas Hold ‘em Style! Pretty cool gig, but I am ready to go home.
