David B. Fein, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that MARTA LOZADA, 43, of New Haven, was sentenced today by United States District Judge Janet C. Hall in Bridgeport to 30 months of imprisonment, followed by three years of supervised release, for bank robbery. Judge Hall also ordered that LOZADA must reside in community confinement (halfway house) during the first six months of her term of supervised release.
According to court documents and statements made in court, on February 4, 2010, LOZADA robbed a Bank of America branch located at 100 Amity Road in New Haven of approximately $4,858.
